As part of our commitment to providing flexibility while maintaining the integrity of our event, The Bureau Fashion Week has established the following refund policy for all ticket purchases:
STANDARD TICKETS
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, we offer three options to protect your investment:
1. TICKET PROTECTION OPTION
We strongly recommend purchasing our Ticket Protection Option at the time of ticket purchase. This protection, administered by EventCover, provides coverage for a wide range of unexpected circumstances that may prevent you from attending Fashion Week. When you purchase Ticket Protection, you may be eligible for a refund if you cannot attend due to:
Medical Circumstances:
- Physical injury or illness (with doctor's certification)
- Pre-existing medical conditions (with doctor's certification of unexpected complications)
- Pregnancy complications (diagnosed after ticket purchase)
- Birth of a child within 7 days of the event
- Death of ticket holder or immediate family member
Travel and Transportation:
- Unexpected public transportation disruptions
- Flight cancellations or significant delays
- Vehicle breakdown within 48 hours of the event
- Official weather warnings preventing travel
Professional and Personal Obligations:
- Jury duty
- Court witness summons
- Military or emergency services recall
- Unexpected work relocation (over 100 miles)
- Compulsory redundancy
- Required examination resits
Emergency Situations:
- Burglary, fire, or flood at residence requiring your presence
- Criminal assault within 10 days of the event
- Theft of identification documents
- Theft of event tickets (with police report)
In order to file a claim for the Ticket Protection
- Please visit your ticket confirmation email.
- Within the footer section of the email, you will see the "Ticket Protection" information, that includes a link for you to submit for the refund.
Please note, we are not in control of Eventcover, as they are a third party service.
2. RESELLER'S PLATFORM
If you did not purchase Ticket Protection and cannot attend:
- You may list your ticket on our official Reseller's Platform
- The platform ensures secure and verified ticket transfers
- Original ticket must be valid and uncompromised
- Original purchase price cannot be exceeded
- All transfers must be completed through our official platform to ensure validity
3. Ticket Exchange
Our ticket exchange program allows for flexibility while maintaining event security. Here are the essential details:
- Exchanges available up until 7 days before event
- $25 processing fee per ticket (waived for VIP)
- One exchange permitted per ticket
- Available options:
- Different show date (same season)
- Seating category changes
- Switch between show types (e.g., general to Child + Teen shows)
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Ticket Protection must be purchased at the same time as your event ticket
- Claims must be submitted within 45 days of the inability to attend
- Supporting documentation is required for all claims
- COVID-19 and communicable disease-related cancellations are not covered
- Event cancellation by the organizer is handled separately from this policy
